We were delighted to have a special gathering at our HQ in Bethnal Green to mark the 20th anniversary of McQueens Flower School last week.
The success of McQueens Flower School is measured by the success of our students, so we were thrilled to accept an invitation from former McQueens student Kate Norris who has recently started a florist business in Los Angeles. We’ve loved welcoming a fabulous group of new vocational students to the McQueens Flower School for a flying start to 2018. Our first class of the year has representatives from all around the globe, in addition to students who literally live down the road from our humble HQ in East London. January brings lots of promise for an exciting new year and we are absolutely honoured to play a part in the start of new adventures as our students take their floristry skills to the next level.

Now we are suddenly faced with the looming prospect of Christmas and the tricky issue of where we should spend the […]

McQueens was at the forefront of the revolution that helped to reshape an industry that was saddled with a fuddy-duddy reputation and mired in antiquated rules and notions of how flowers should […]
We’d like to share a throw-back moment to a very exciting opportunity for McQueens Flower School – our recent trip to Australia to collaborate with Pearsons School of Floristry. McQueens stalwarts Emily Mathison and Duncan McCabe valiantly stepped up to the mark when a five-day teaching assignment in Australia was first suggested. It’s a tough job […]
