New – McQueens Flower School Announces Spring Workshops

Although we love the magical elements of winter – the crisp mornings, cosy evenings, not to mention the arrival of some of our all time favourite flowers such as the anemone and ranunculus – we can’t help but feel a slight tinge of excitement as the very first signs of spring appear. Right now, sweet narcissi are spreading sunshine and our old friends the tulips are arriving in all their beautiful varieties. To celebrate the season and the glorious gems it brings, McQueens Flower School has tailored a series of five spring-inspired workshops , each designed to be easily replicated in the home.

The series of exclusive classes can be undertaken individually or, because they cover a variety of floristry skills and arrangements, sit perfectly alongside each other as a week-long course. Each workshop will include a varied morning of demonstrations and learning followed by a creative and hands-on afternoon where you’ll craft your spring-inspired creation to take home with you.

Delight in the beautiful blooms of season

Workshop One – Gems of the Season Handtie Bouquet

Imagine being immersed in fragrant and fresh spring flowers. Our expert tutors will introduce you to the beautiful materials and guide you on how to make a professional looking hand-tie bouquet, the perfect skill to learn for homemade gifts.

Workshop Two – A Spring Table Design

Perhaps you’re hosting an Easter lunch or need some sensational dinner party decor ideas? This workshop focuses on a dynamic spring table design created to inspire you with ideas for your own banquet.

Workshop Three – Seasonal Wreath

Following a morning demonstration, you’ll design your own spring-inspired wreath, whether it’s to adorn your door or act as a beautiful table-centre. Once mastered, you can easily replicate your new skills throughout the seasons.

You’ll learn to create spring-inspired designs that can be replicated at home

Workshop Four – Classic Design

Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of a springtime garden and the iconic works of floristry icon Constance Spry, this workshop will concentrate on creating a relaxed and informal arrangement.

Workshop Five – Spring Showstopper

Armed with the most beautiful blooms of the season, you’ll be guided on how to create a statement piece designed to sit pretty in your home – and attract admiring glances from your guests!

Our expert team of tutors will guide you through the workshops

The classes are for a limited time only. Further workshop details and dates can be found here.
