Having spent the last year working towards this achievement, we are delighted to announce that McQueens Flower School have been awarded ASIC Accreditation, to say we’re over the moon is an understatement. Read on to find out what this exciting development means for our future students…

Who are ASIC?

ASIC is an independent, government-approved accreditation body specialising in the assessment of educational institutions. The organisation takes a detailed look at all aspects of the whole institution and take many different factors into account, from the health and safety of the premises and the resources available to staff and management to the delivery of the course material and the welfare of the students.

What does it mean for our students?

Not only does this mean students can be sure they’re entering an independently assessed learning facility operating at the highest standards of teaching in a safe and productive environment – doing what they love and developing their floristry skills, it also means that students from outside the EU are able to obtain the appropriate visa to study legally in the UK.

“2019 marks twenty one years of the McQueens Flower School – an incredible achievement in its own right” says McQueens managing director Richard Eagleton, “but to have received recognition from an internationally respected and independent government body such as ASIC is truly something to be celebrated and proud of – making us one of only two accredited flower schools in London.

“We’ve always welcomed students from many countries, but our accreditation enables us to open the doors to students who’ve previously been unable to secure the correct visa to study with us in London.”

Richard Eagleton, McQueens Managing Director
