Autumn continues to march onwards bring with it gorgeous seasonal delights, unique to this time of year. Pumpkins and gourds are popping up everywhere at McQueens HQ and are liberally scattered throughout our workrooms destined to decorate chic venues throughout London and beyond.
Halloween beckons with ghoulish delight and there are spooky props and artefacts waiting to be displayed in celebration of the season of ghost, ghouls, monsters and witches. What was once celebrated on one day only with a smudge of face paint and the occasional trick or treat mask has spawned into a month-long horror extravaganza that is impossible to escape from. Trumpkins are the viral sensation this year with the bright orange pumpkin that needs minimal styling to look truly horrific and in the likeness of its namesake.
But the real dazzling show of the season is a free for all spectacular display throughout the land thanks to dear old Mother Nature. Take a leisurely walk through fields, parks and gardens at this time of year and you will be rewarded with the most wonderful show of trees gently shedding leaves, leaving a glorious and luxurious ankle-deep carpet covered leaves of rust, orange and gold shades.
